The original redesign was vaguely similar in design, but without being responsive.

For the new design, I had to rebuild the theme from scratch. The design uses a multi-tier navigation and a more customized front page to emphasize the services offered, as well as a simple service request form for convenience.

SEO And Marketing

This plumber was planning on starting his own plumbing business and wanted a strategic advantage against his local competitors. I offered a lot of advice on how to strategically position his site. I analyzed his competitors’ sites and used some SEO best practices combined with some targeted google ads. He finally launched his business in 2015 and so far has been very busy with customers contacting him through his website.

Technology

The Drupal site runs on Linux with Nginx, MySQL, PHP5 FPM, and a couple Bash scripts for backup and maintenance.

My development environment includes a Virtualbox instance setup to be as similar as possible to the production server.
